Setting out with the ideal of a world university in Anatolia, Erzincan Binali Yildirim University, which started its Turkish Higher Education life with Erzincan College of Education and Erzincan Vocational School of Higher Education founded in 1976, is a university based on science and technology with a strong infrastructure, an innovative and continuously developing vision, focused on research and development, at the center of University-Industry cooperation, aiming to spread the total quality approach to all academic and administrative units and aiming to make internationalization a target in all fields.
It is one of the main goals of our university to educate our students as individuals who have broad horizons and free thinking who will reach their own ideals in all their academic education and training lives. To this end, our University, with its young and dynamic structure, meets its students with activities and projects that will bring difference and innovation in scientific, technological and social fields.
Universities are not only educational institutions; actually they are information centers that carry out studies for the development and contribution of the city, region and country where they are located, and do research and shed light on innovation with their researches therein. Setting out with the mission of A World University in Anatolia, Our Universitiy makes great effort to reach further goals by making best use of the conditions and expectations of our region and the opportunities at hand. ERZİNCAN
Erzincan is an important settlement along the Silk Road. Located in the middle of a plain surrounded by high mountains and on the northern edge of the Euphrates River, the city has a population of 237,000. It was captured by Fatih Sultan Mehmed (Mehmed the Conquerer) and annexed to Ottoman lands, later occupied by Russian forces in 1916, but taken back in 1918 and became a provincial center in 1923.
Today, especially the city ruins of Urartu-Hittite period, castles, mosques, fountains, bridges, caravanserais from the Seljuk and Ottoman periods shed light on the cultural structure of the province.
Erzincan, where the art of being coppersmith among the handicrafts has an important place, stands out with its natural beauties for tourism besides its cultural structure. Plateaus, mountains, rivers, lakes and natural forests give a novel touch to the natural beauties of the region. This natural environment also provides opportunities for sports in Erzincan. In addition to natural sports such as hiking to the natural lakes and highlands in the Munzur mountains, rafting in the Euphrates River, paragliding, camping, rock climbing, canoeing, water skiing and winter sports in Tercan and Erzincan dams, javelin sports are also being performed successfully in Erzincan.
The cultural assets as well as sports and natural beauties also constitute the tourism potential of the province. With its mountains around, vineyards in the middle and exemplary practices in urbanism, Erzincan is worth seeing.

Faculty of Education
The Faculty of Education, which was once affiliated to Ataturk University whose foundation dates back to 1967, was incorporated into Erzincan University which was established in accordance with the law no. 5467 dated 01.03.2006.
The Faculty of Education carried out educational services on its campus in the city center until the end of the 2011-2012 academic year and by the date 17 September 2012 moved all its divisions to its new building located in Yalnızbağ Campus and has been carrying out its services there since then. The Faculty of Education has a mission to produce scientific information related to education through a human-centered approach, to provide educational services so to meet the needs of the region and the country and to train internationally preferred teachers.
The faculty’s facilities include 64 classrooms, 8 computer labs, 2 science laboratories, 34 individual music study rooms, 5 main art workshops, 1 reading room and 2 conference halls. Our faculty continues to provide educational services with a total of 117 academic staff including 13 professors, 21 associate professors, 55 assistant professors, 7 lecturers, 21 research assistants as well as 13 administrative staff to serve for 3820 students.

The Faculty of Engineering, which was established in 2010, aims to train master engineers who are capable of using the knowledge of the modern engineering world in the best way possible. Thanks to its academic staff and fully-equipped laboratories, our faculty has rich application areas required by modern education. The faculty has 12 classrooms, 1 computer laboratory, 3 electrical and electronic laboratories, 4 machine laboratories, 1 construction laboratory, 1 food laboratory and 2 computer laboratories for 45 people and 50 people which are used by all departments.

Faculty of Theology, which aims to provide the students with the ability to interpret contemporary problems under the light of basic resources, has launched its educational activities in 2010-2011 academic year.
Our faculty is dedicated to educate theologians who will conduct and publish original and objective research in the field of religious sciences, especially Islamic sciences without ignoring the social and cultural developments in the changing world order; equipped with pedagogical formation, competent in the field of Islamic cultures as well as in their own fields, having ideas in parallel with scientific and technical developments.

The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, which aims to provide an effective teaching environment in order to educate its students as qualified individuals thinking analytic, having the knowledge and skills required by the fields of business, economics, politics and social services, adopting scientific research and development as a principle, in accordance with the conditions demanded by the era, was established in 2008 and accepted students in 2009-2010 academic year.
Furthermore, lecturing procedure is lived up with the participation of academic staff who are experts in their fields from other faculties and universities. Students’ knowledge and perspectives are enriched through seminars and meetings where the experiences of private and public sector executives are shared.
Our students can benefit from the social facilities of the campus besides their lectures and courses in main building with modern classrooms, computer laboratories and reading rooms located in the Yalnızbağ Campus of our University.
In our faculty, there are 3 amphitheaters, 11 classrooms and 1 computer laboratory. Erzincan Faculty of Law, which was established in 1987, is located 3 km away from the city center on a 42.000 m2 campus surrounded by natural beauties where our students can do sports activities.
The facilities of our faculty include 6 amphitheathres, 2 of which are for 350 people while 4 for 250 people and 1 conference hall for 275 people, 1 student cafeteria for 120 people in the amphitheather group; 6 classrooms, 1 hearing room in our Faculty Main Building as well as a rich library of nearly 30,000 printed works and up-to-date databases and a reading room for up to 100 people. In addition, the faculty offers a cafeteria for 250 people and football, basketball and volleyball courts for the students.
Our faculty accepts 300 students every year. Faculty members include a total number of 59 academic staff consisting of 6 Professors, 14 Assistant Professors, 2 Lecturers and 37 Research Assistants and 22 Administrative Staff to serve for 1598 students.
Besides the undergraduate programs in Law, our faculty offers graduate programs in private and public law divisons with and without thesis as well as Ph.D programs in private and public law divisions.
Our Faculty regularly publishes “Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University Faculty of Law Journal” every year.
The graduates from our Faculty have successfully completed the professional exams they have taken so far. The success rate of our students is very high especially in the written examinations of Candidacy for Judicial and Administrative-Law Judge . Some of our students who graduated from our faculty are working as judges and prosecutors within the Ministry of Justice, some as lecturers in various law faculties, and most of them as professional lawyers.

Faculty of Medicine
Following the establishment of our university, the Faculty of Medicine was established in 2007 in order to make up the lack of health services by taking the needs of the people of the region into account.
Our Faculty of Medicine has completed its technical, administrative and academic infrastructure rapidly and hereby continues to serve in Mengücek Gazi Training and Research Hospital, which was completed in accordance with the protocol signed with the Ministry of Health in 2011.
The number of students of our faculty, which accepted the first students in the year 2008, is 265 in total; and our 4th, 5th and 6th year students have their clinical, polyclinic and laboratory applications in Mengücek Gazi Training and Research Hospital.
The Faculty facilities include 3 amphitheater, 3 classrooms, 2 meeting halls, 2 application laboratories, 1 pharmacology laboratory, 1 physiology laboratory, 1 histology laboratory, 1 medical biology laboratory, 1 medical genetics laboratory, 1 microscope laboratory, 1 intern doctor’s study room, 1 library, 1 reading room, 8 program-based learning room and 1 anatomical model room.
Faculty members include a total number of 166 academic staff consisting of 15 Professors, 23 Associate Professors, 70 Assistant Professors and 58 Research Assistants, and 13 Administrative Staff to serve for 371 students.
Our Faculty, which is dedicated to educate and train academicians and specialist physicians who play an active role in the country’s health policy by continuously improving education standards, aims to become a medicine faculty in line with the ideal of Erzincan University namely, “A World University in Anatolia”.

The Faculty of Dentistry was established in 2013 in accordance with the decree of the Council of Ministers and in 2016, faculty members started to provide health services in Oral and Dental Healthcare Clinic.

SCHOOLS
School of Civil Aviation
Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University School of Civil Aviation was established in 2009 with the cooperation of the Ministry of Transport and Çelebi Holding in order to provide qualified staff with the required knowledge and skills in compliance with the international aviation standards for the increasingly important civil aviation sector.
Our school, which was introduced to the education system in 2010-2011 academic year, offers four-year undergraduate program following English Language preparatory education.
The building of our School has a total area of 16.000 m2 with four floors. The facilities of our School include 9 classrooms with a capacity of 450 people, 2 computer laboratories with a capacity of 98 people, a language laboratory with a capacity of 20 people and a workshop.
School members consists of 11 academic staff in total, including 1 Associate Professors, 5 Assistant Professors, 1 Lecturer and 4 Assistant Researchers, and 6 Administrative staff to serve for 277 students.

The proposal regarding the conversion of our School’s title to “Ali Cavit Celebioglu Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics” was prepared and submitted to the Turkish Council of Higher Education (YOK) by the Rectorate of Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University.
Kemaliye Hacı Ali Akın School of Applied Sciences
Our school, which was established under the name of “Kemaliye Hacı Ali Akın School of Tourism and Hotel Management” in 2010, was later named as “Kemaliye Hacı Ali Akın School of Applied Sciences” in 2015.
The main building of the School that was situated in downtown Kemaliye was established in September 2010 on an 11000 m2 area in downtown Kemaliye again and moved to the new campus. There is also a student dormitory operating under the Higher Education Student Loans and Dormitories Institution within the Campus, as built by Hacı Ali Akın, a charitable businessman. The Department of Tourism and Hotel Management has been introduced to education in our School.
Our School members include 6 academic staff in total consisting of 2 Assistant Professors, 3 Lecturers and 1 Research Assistant and 1 Administrative Staff to serve for 60 students.

Our school was established in 2012 and accepted students in the 2013-2014 academic year for the department of sports management. The courses are conducted in open-air sports facilities in the university and around the city of Erzincan and in 4 classrooms.

School of Foreign Languages
School of Foreign Languages, which offers foreign language courses for the faculties and schools affiliated to Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University, is responsible for teaching foreign language courses to the undergraduate and associate degree students in accordance with the programs of the faculties and schools. The School of Foreign Languages also offers intensive foreign language courses for graduate students and preparatory classes of faculties and schools in which attending a preparatory program is a requirement.
School facilities include 7 language classes. School members include a total number of 17 academic staff consisting of 1 Associate Professors and 16 Lecturers, and 2 Administrative Staff. There are no students enrolled in our School.

Vocational School of Higher Education
Vocational Schools of Higher Education are educational institutions which can transfer current and theoretical knowledge at the same time; adapt to renewal processes and cooperate intensively with the sector. Our Vocational School, which started teaching in the 1976-1977 academic year to serve for 176 students in Electrical, Construction, Engine and Accounting Programs under the Ministry of National Education, offers its students the level of education in which they can use technologies effectively and provides an academic environment that will make a significant contribution to their professional and personal development.
There are 27 laboratories and workshops in our Vocational School that offers education within Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University.
Our Vocational School members include a total number of 53 academic staff consisting of 1 Associate Professor, 13 Assistant Professor and 39 Lecturers, and 26 Adminstrative Staff to serve for 3440 students.
The majority of our faculty members have participated in the overseas education activities in our school which is within the scope of Higher Education Council (YOK) / World Bank project. Every workshop and laboratory within all divisions in our school is equipped with modern tools and equipment in line with this project. During the 2-year training period, all the theoretical and practical information required for industry, trade and service sectors are provided with a comprehensive training program.

Our School has set out with the principle of educating qualified individuals who are equipped with modern knowledge and skills in the field of health services required by the country and that are in line with the requirements of the era.
Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University Health Services Vocational School of Higher Education started offering education and training in the academic year of 2008/2009 with the Division of Child Development and Division of Medical Documentation and Secretary Training under the Department of Health Services. Division of Emergency and Disaster Management in 2009; Division of Home Healthcare Services in 2013 and First Aid Training Center in 2015 were adjoined to our School.
The facilities of Health Services Vocational School of Higher Education include There are 12 classrooms, 1 computer laboratory, 1 paramedic laboratory, 1 home care practice room, 1 child development practice class, 1 design workshop, 1 first aid training center and 1 research laboratory.
Health Services Vocational School of Higher Education members include 21 academic staff in total consisting of 1 Associate Professor, 5 Assistant Professor, 15 Lecturers, and 5 Administrative Staff to serve for 898 students.

Vocational School of Higher Education for Tourism
Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University Tourism Vocational School of Higher Education, was established in 2008 for the purpose of educating and training qualifed staff for the tourism sector of our country, has included the Division of Tourism and Hotel Management the same year and later the Division of Tourism and Travel Services and Division of Cookery.
Graduates of Tourism and Hotel Management Vocational School of Higher Education are able to transfer to various departments of the Faculty of Tourism and Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) and continue their careers from Associate to Undergraduate Degree.
The facilities of Tourism and Hotel Management Vocational School of Higher Education include 7 classrooms, 1 computer laboratory and 1 cookery workshop.

Vocational School of Higher Education for Justice
Justice Vocational School of Higher Education, which as established in 2010 and has been offering education since the academic term of 2011-2012, serves for the purpose of raising semi-qualified labor power that can be employed in various units within the Ministry of Justice. Graduates of this Department are employed in Courts of First Instance (civil, criminal, administrative and tax); Regional Courts (Judicial and Administrative); Supreme Courts; Ministry of Justice (Central and Provincial Offices); Public Prosecuter’s Office; Penitentiary Institutions (Prisons and Detention Houses); Execution Offices. Graduates can also be employed in Turkish Supreme Election Council, Notary Public, Law Offices, Banks and
Furthermore, the graduates may tranfer to the Faculty of Law provided they succeed in the Vertical Tranfer Exam (DGS) conducted by Turkish Measuring, Selection and Placement Center (OSYM).

Kemaliye Hacı Ali Akın Vocational School of Higher Education
Kemaliye Hacı Ali Akın Vocational School of Higher Education was established with the aim of contributing to the development of the economic and social structure of the region and the country by educating researcher and productive technicians specialized in their fields.
Our School located in Kemaliye District has 6 classrooms, 5 workshops and 2 laboratories. Three students dormitories for girls and boys were builts by the charitable businessman Hacı Ali Akın from Kemaliye and donated to the Higher Education Student Loans and Dormitories Institution.
School members include a total number of 12 academic staff consisting of 1 Assistant Professor, 11 Lecturers, and 4 Administrative Staff to serve for 415 students.

Refahiye Vocational School of Higher Education
Refahiye Vocational School of Higher Education, which was commissioned in 1995 as part of Ataturk University, has been affiliated to Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University since 2006. Departments and divisions offered under Refahiye Vocational School of Higher Education, which develops constantly and continues to provide education and training in both social and technical programs, have been opened considering the needs of the business world. The majority of the graduates from our School can immediately be employed.
Our School offers education and training in a total number of 7 divisions; 6 of which is based on formal education while the remaining one is based on distance education.

Tercan Vocational School of Higher Education, which started education in Tercan District of Erzincan Province in 1998, has graduated hundreds of “semi-qualified employee” within the last17 years and contributed the employment of our country. Tercan Vocational School of Higher Education, which provides education with its project-based and student-centered staff experienced in vocational education, educates the qualified workforce of the future.

Established in 2007, Kemal Vocational School of Higher Education offers education and training in 6 departments. Education and training activities are carried out in 8 classrooms, 3 laboratories, 1 library and study hall. Seminars and conferences are held regularly during the semester to support educational activities. In addition, our School also serves our students and faculty members with a library, canteen and multi-purpose hall to carry out social and cultural activities in different branches.

Erzincan Binali Yıldırım Univeristy Refahiye Vocational School of Higher Education for Health Services, which was established in 2018 with the decision of the General Assembly of Higher Education in our district of Refahiye, has set out with the mission of raising the most qualified human resources required in line with the needs of the health sector and making important contributions to the region and the country.
Erzincan Binali Yıldırım Univeristy Refahiye Vocational School of Higher Education for Health Services started offering education and training in the academic year of 2018-2019 by accepting students for Division of Child Development and Division of Medical Documentation and Secretarial Training and currently serves for 77 students in total.

Library
Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University Library collects all kinds of information resources and information technologies for the education, training, research and spending leisure time of academicians, students and administrative staff of faculties, institutes, colleges and vocational schools within the University and provides them to the service of users.
The Central Library, which was established in 2007, continues to serve on the 3rd floor Faculty of Arts and Science in Yalnızbağ Campus with a total of 104,433 materials. The Library has 11 database subscriptions and all of them can be used free of charge via ULAKBIM (Turkish Academic Network and Information Center). In addition, our school provides service to students, academic and administrative staff with open shelf system, online catalog scanning system, inter-library borrowing system. In addition to the Central Library, there are libraries within the body of Faculty of Law, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Theology, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Tercan Vocational School of Higher Education and Kemaliye Vocational School of Higher Education.
Accomodation Facilities
There are 10 dormitories with a total capacity of 9644 people, 4 of which are in districts while 4 girls and 2 boys’ dormitories in downtown Erzincan.
Refectory
Lunches of academic and administrative staff and students are prepared in the same kitchens. Dietitians serve as a control mechanism for the healthy preparation of the meals of the staff and students working in the faculties. Food service is provided in 10 cafeterias in faculties and schools of our university. Card passes are available from the tourniquets of all the cafeterias of our universities. Food prices are regulated by taking into consideration the economic conditions of our students. In addition, there are canteens and cafeterias in our central and other departments to meet the needs of our students.
Cultural Activities
Activities are organized in the fields of painting and photography exhibitions, concerts, conferences, theaters and similar arts and culture so that the students can perform art and cultural activities according to their interests and abilities in their spare time and to this end, students are provided with the opportunity to benefit from a wider range of arts and cultural activities by cooperating with organizations engaged in such activities.

Guidance and Psychological Counseling Services within Health, Culture and Sports Department of our University provide counseling and guidance to students in solving emotional, social, educational problems they face as well as deciding on occupational or career decisions. To this end, it offers psychological counseling to our students and staff under “Life Skills Center” within the framework of Guidance and Psychological Counseling Services.

In accordance with the regulations on granting scholarships and credits to Higher Education students accepted on 03.03.2004, students who meet the conditions to be granted scholarships are determined by our University and sent to the Higher Education Student Loans and Dormitories Institution to obtain scholarships.

Erzincan Culture and Education Foundation provides scholarships to our students in order to protect young people; make the students of Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University feel that the Foundation is always with them and to increase their motivation.
Sports Activities
Many sports activities such as football, basketball, volleyball, skiing, rafting, paragliding are carried out in order to protect and improve the physical health of students and employees, push them into the habit of working on discipline, make them interested in sports, direct their motivation and energy into this positive field and provide them an opportunity to spend their leisure time in any kind of sports they are interested. Inter-university sports tournaments and spring festivals are held between the units in our university.
In order for our students to carry out their sporting activities, the facilities of our university include 1 fitness center, 1 large synthetic pitch, 2 tennis cords, 2 smaller synthetic pitches, 2 basketball courts in Yalnızbag Campus and 3 indoor sports halls within Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University.
Scientific Publications
Scientific Publications of Erzincan University include Journal of Erzincan Education Faculty, Journal of Law Faculty, Journal of Institute of Science, Journal of Erzincan University Institute of Social Sciences and Bağ Bahçe Science Magazine.
Computer Facilities and Internet Services
Our university continues to serve with a reliable communication infrastructure and strong database. There are computer laboratories for student use in each unit of the university and 3201 desktops and 415 laptops are available in the university. While the internet speed is increased to 400 mbhs, the units can connect to the internet at 600 mbps via metro Ethernet technology. Our students and academicians can perform their official proceedings online. Infrastructure services such as system room, fiber optic infrastructure and camera system have been completed in Yalnızbağ Campus. Wireless network service is provided in all campuses. In addition, we continue to provide EDUROAM service. With 293 AP in our campuses, we provide wireless internet service to all our staff, students and guests. We continue to provide EDUROAM service.
Foreign Affairs
Erzincan Binali Yildirim University, which is on the way to becoming a World University in Anatolia with its rapidly growing quality and new units, introduces Erzincan and Erzincan Binali Yildirim University both nationally and internationally. Founded in 2006, the University has taken important steps in the international arena in a short time. The University has initiated staff and student exchanges through bilateral protocols with universities in America, Europe and Central Asia and has been involved in the Magna Charta and Black Sea Network processes.
Our university has also signed agreements with 20 European countries within the scope of Erasmus program. The faculty and student exchanges started with 120 academic staff and 250 students in France, Portugal, Poland, Germany, Italy and Denmark.
Within the scope of Mevlana program, Erzincan University has signed agreements with 22 countries including Pakistan, USA and Kazakhstan. As a member of the Black Sea Universities Network, which provides collaboration and quality assurance among the universities of the Black Sea countries, it has the opportunity to conduct research and development, exchange of students and academic staff, and conduct academic studies and projects. Thus, together with Magna Charta, our university aims to be among the universities in Europe. With the association of European Universities, it has taken another step towards becoming a European University.
Accessibility
Transportation services between Erzincan city center and Yalnızbag Campus are provided by the Rectorate of the University and Erzincan Municipality Transportation Services Unit without any problem.
Transportation services are carried out by private public buses in the province, and it is possible to reach all the campuses of the University by public buses.
Banking and Postal Services
All bank branches and postal services are available in the city center. Our students can have the bank and postal services they need from the bank branches in the city center. In addition, ATMs are available in all our campuses. There are branches of all banks in social facilities and the campus area of our Yalnızbag Campus as well as a PTT (Turkish Post and Telegraph Corporation) branch.
